Our board of directors provide the leadership necessary to ensure that all employees are engaged in HSE issues and are empowered to contribute to continuous improvement.
We will at all times:-
- Ensure that all our employees have the necessary skills and competencies to work in a safe manner.
- Provide all the resources necessary to enable our operations to be carried out to world class levels of safety and environmental awareness.
- Employ a competent person to further our ambitious targets and provide the necessary expertise to ensure we comply with all HSE regulations.
- Use proven techniques such as Lean-Sigma, 6S etc. to improve our systems, procedures and environment.
- Formally measure our HSE performance to ensure continuous improvement against targets.
- Ensure that all practices, systems and procedures are regularly reviewed and audited to identify areas for improvement.
- Continuously improve the environmental aspect of our operations and improve their impact by reducing waste, using environmentally friendly materials and controlling energy usage.
- Ensure that in selecting suppliers / sub-contractors, we will give major consideration to their HSE performance. Additionally, supplier / sub-contractor audits will include a review of HSE performance.
